They say that variety is the spice of life but how many of us get bogged down eating the same foods week in and week out?
The best way for our bodies to get all of the different nutrients and phytochemicals from food is through VARIETY.
So here is your challenge:
- Write a list of all the different foods you eat for 7 days
- Include different types of vegetables, fruit, legumes, nuts, seeds, whole grains, meat, fish, oils/fats, fresh herbs and fresh or dried spices
- DON’T include fast/junk food
- Aim for a minimum of 40 different foods
